Lauren House began her dance training at the age of three at Sorensen School of Dance. She currently studies Ballet at the Intermediate exam level, Pointe, Tap at the Intermediate level, and Modern at the Advanced 1 level. She has been the recipient of the Dance Teachers Association of Newfoundland scholarship as well as a 2 time recipient of the Bethany Pike Memorial scholarship. Lauren has received intensive training at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, National Ballet School of Canada, School of Alberta Ballet and the Quinte Ballet School of Canada. Receiving full time offers from The School of Alberta Ballet and Quinte Ballet School of Canada. In 2015 she travelled to NYC to train at Broadway Dance Centre. Lauren has also performed with Canada's Ballet Jorgen as a LP in Romeo and Juliet and Sleeping Beauty and will join Atlantic Light Theatre in a tap role in the production Billy Elliott. As a member of Kittiwake Dance Theatre, Lauren has had multiple roles in the Christmas productions of The Nutcracker. In addition to her time in the studio, Lauren takes vocal and piano training and is working on the Bronze level with The Duke of Edinburgh. She is a gr.10 student at Holy Heart High School.
