Hilary graduated from Memorial University in May of 2018 with a Bachelor of Kinesiology Honours (Co-op). In June 2023 she was successfully awarded the Associate Diploma in Tap (ISTD). In January 2020 she was successfully awarded her Tap Associate with the Imperial Society of Teachers’ of Dancing (ISTD) and in June 2021 she was awarded her Modern Associate with the ISTD. Most recently, Hilary graduated with her MBA from Memorial University, October 2023.

Hilary has studied out of province on many occasions. In August of 2023 Hilary returned to NYC to take classes at Broadway Dance Centre. In August of 2019, she attended the ISTD Modern and Tap Summer school in Chichester, England. In 2017 Hilary received certification to teach Acrobatic Arts. Hilary has attended the Pulse Summer School in NYC in 2011; The Pulse in Toronto in February 2012. In the summer of 2013 Hilary travelled to the National Ballet School in Toronto to attend the Cecchetti Ballet Summer School and to New York City to train at the Broadway Dance Centre. The summer of 2015 she was also in NYC taking classes at Broadway Dance Centre. Hilary has also completed Module One of the Alexa Flexibility Program.
 
Hilary has a wonderful rapport with the students at SSOD and it’s a pleasure to have such a versatile, talented and well trained teacher part of the team for the 2023-2024 season.
